BBQ Season – LiberTerre® – Antibiotic Free, Hormone Free Meats

LiberTerre Meats at Vince's Market storesA few summers ago, we introduced the LiberTerre® brand of Beef, Pork, Poultry and some highlights of lamb, through our Partners at Retail Ready. The LiberTerre® brand signifies that their products are “free from…” For example, the products are Antibiotic Free, Hormone Free, etc. and they are great… especially during BBQ season.

What I love about LiberTerre® is you can taste the difference without feeling the effect on your wallet but you need to try it  to taste the difference.  Try picking up some top sirloin or bone-in pork chops – they will be on special in our new flyer tomorrow! This way you will not have to pay more than your conventional purchase to try them. Once you do, you will taste the difference. Antibiotic free, hormone free will hopefully become a regular choice for your family. Click here if you want more info on LiberTerre®!

And, now that the great weather has arrived, we have been able to put a few week’®s worth of grilling under our belts. Personally, I am back in the swing of things with my charcoal BBQ, and starting to get a feel for the warm and hot spots on the grill. For dinner tonight I am already planning on grilling some corn on the cob and some of those LiberTerre® Top Sirloin steaks.

A little trick I’ve learned, is wiping the grill down with limes – the acidity will help clean the grill and leave a great citrus flavor on your beef. I’m a traditional kind of guy and like to simply salt my beef with a course texture sea salt and a light sprinkle of our Vince’s Coterie Spice Rub. These two approaches can make anyone look like a pro!

Our Vince’s Coterie Spice Rub is a salt free blend of quality spices that is suited to beef, poultry, fish and ribs. When using on steak, let the rub sit with the product for at least 1 hour to allow for the spices to flavor the meat.

Happy Grilling! Let us know what you think!  And don’t forget to leave a link back to your own blog too if you have one via the commentluv option here on the site.
