Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1.5 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 potato burger buns
- 1/2 tbsp olive oil
- salt and pepper
- Cheese
- burger sauce (or mustard)
- 1/2 cup lettuce
- pickles
- 1 onion
Method
- Make 2” balls of 1/4 lb of ground beef.
- Set aside in the freezer on a plate.
- Add butter to the pan, cut the buns and place them face down on the pan.
- Toast the buns and set them aside.
- Brush a 12-inch pan with oil over medium heat.
- Place the meat and press down firmly to flatten the meat.
- Flip the patty and season with salt & pepper.
- Add cheese on top.
- Place a large lid to cover the skillet so that the cheese melts in the end.
- Spread burger sauce, lettuce over the bottom bun, add the patties and pickles, onions on top.
