Ever thought of incorporating pickles into your meals? Dawn, the founder of Pickled Canadian, shares a recipe in this week’s Vince’s at Home video: Pickled Canadian Pasta Salad. This dish is not only unique, but also packed with tangy flavours – perfect for your summer cuisine.

Pickled Canadian Pasta Salad:

  • Egg Noodles
  • Red Bell Pepper (1)
  • Cooked Ham (cut into chunks)
  • Sour Cream (Sheldon Creek)
  • Red Onion (1)
  • Fresh Dill (to taste)
  • Havarti Cheese (Dill) from Castello brand
  • French Onion Dip Mix (Club House) – 1 pack
  • Mayo (Miracle Whip) – as desired
  • Hard Boiled Eggs (2)
  • Full Sour Dill Pickles (Pickled Canadian)

Directions:

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to the package instructions and let them cool.
  2. Dice the red bell pepper, cooked ham, and red onion.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sour cream, mayo, and French onion dip mix.
  4. Add the cooled noodles, diced vegetables, ham, and cheese into the bowl.
  5. Chop the full sour dill pickles and hard-boiled eggs, then add them to the mix.
  6. Toss everything together, adding fresh dill to taste.
