2019 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS ANNOUNCED: “SEEDS OF GROWTH” HELPS FUND POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION

NEWMARKET, ON, July 2, 2019

Vince’s Market is pleased to announce the 2019 recipients of its Seeds of Growth scholarship fund. Now in its second year, this annual program recently awarded $500 to each of the two winners – to be used towards their post secondary education.

Jackson Enright has worked at Vince’s Tottenham since it opened in September 2017. This recent graduate of Banting Memorial High School in Alliston will be attending University of Waterloo for computer engineering. “It’s going to make my work here a little easier knowing I’m closer to being able to pay off my student fees,” he noted.

Vince’s colleague Samantha McGuire has also worked at the Tottenham store since early days. She graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Secondary School last year, and will soon be entering the nursing program at Trent University.

“We are proud of our student employees, and are pleased to help them achieve their educational goals,” said Giancarlo Trimarchi, partner at Vince’s Market. “Post secondary programs are challenging, but are key to starting and building a career. We wish them all the best in their future endeavours!”

To be eligible, students must have worked for Vince’s Market for at least 12 months, and currently be enrolled in post secondary education, or be attending in the fall.
