VINCE’S MARKET TO OPEN “MARKET-STYLE” STORE AT UPPER CANADA MALL

Small-footprint store to join 25 vendors as part of 40,000 square-foot mall redevelopment project

NEWMARKET ON, November 8, 2017

Vince’s Market has announced the opening of a small footprint store in the fall of 2018 at Upper Canada Mall. It is part of a larger redevelopment project that involves the creation of a best-in-class food market with 25 vendors offering an assortment of fresh foods and prepared take-away options.

Vince’s 1,100 square foot “market-style” store will be located in the groundbreaking 40,000 sq. ft. Oxford Food Market, strategically positioned near the entrance, and adjacent to a new 2,000 sq. ft. Starbucks. Retail space will include fresh produce, soups, salad bar, olive bar, individual fresh snacking options, bulk food, and dairy.

“We are looking forward to the opportunity to serve new customers in this new format market, with many other operators of excellence,” said Brian Johns, partner and director of operations. “Our commitment to quality, fresh and convenience will be a great match for Oxford Market.”

He added: “This project will create a unique vibe, a different experience for shoppers.”

In addition to Vince’s fresh and prepared options, the new store will also be a pick-up location for their “Entertaining Made Easy” program, where customers can order fresh platters, custom baskets and cakes, either online from their own computers, or from in-store “Connect Centre” kiosks.
