Ingredients
For the Filling
- 7 cups blueberries fresh or frozen
- 1 apple, grated
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp flour
For the Topping
- 1 & 3/4 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- ice cream for topping, optional

Method
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Mix together berries, apple, sugar and flour.
- Pour into 8×8″ baking dish.
- In another bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add butter and fold into the mixture.
- Using your hands, combine the dough into a rough ball.
- Apply the dough onto the filling.
- Bake at 375 for 30-40 minutes or until golden on top.
- Top with optional ice cream
