Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup salted butter, softened
- 1 cup white (granulated) sugar
- 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 1.5 cups chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl mix all the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in another bowl, cream together butter and sugars until combined. Beat in eggs and vanilla into the butter mixture until fluffy.
- Add the dry ingredients until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips
- Using an ice cream scoop (or 2-3 tbsp), scoop out the batter and place the dough balls on the cookie sheet, evenly spacing them. Bake for approximately 8 -10 minutes, or until they are just starting to brown.
- Let them cool and enjoy!
