Ingredients

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 1 cup white (granulated) sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1.5 cups chocolate chips

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking pan with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl mix all the dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in another bowl, cream together butter and sugars until combined. Beat in eggs and vanilla into the butter mixture until fluffy.
  3. Add the dry ingredients until combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips
  5. Using an ice cream scoop (or 2-3 tbsp), scoop out the batter and place the dough balls on the cookie sheet, evenly spacing them. Bake for approximately 8 -10 minutes, or until they are just starting to brown.
  6. Let them cool and enjoy!
