Kale Cleanser

Ingredients
- ½ bunch of kale (Tuscan or Lacinato), stems removed
- 1 handful of cilantro, washed and chopped
- Sea salt
- Olive oil
- ½ lemon
- ½ avocado, cubed
- ¼ cup pomegranate seeds or dried cranberries
- ¼ cup raw walnuts or pecans
Superfood add-ins: Try seaweed flakes or a sprinkle of Blue-green algae (optional) your choice.
Method
- In a large bowl, place kale leaves and sprinkle with about ¼ teaspoon of sea salt
- Drizzle with the juice of ½ of a lemon.
- Massage the sea salt the lemon into the kale as you break apart the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- Once the texture of the kale has changed and the pieces are small, cut up your avocado and toss it into the salad.
- Rinse your cilantro and chop it. Add it to your kale
- Toss in your nuts
- Drizzle with 1-2 tablespoons of preferred oil, toss the salad, and eat.
