Sauteed Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cups mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 tbsp white wine
  • 1 tbsp liquid or coconut amino or soy sauce
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • ground pepper, to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method

  1. Heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat in a pan.
  2. Add mushrooms and cook for 2 minutes.
  3. Add wine, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, herbs, salt, and pepper to the mushrooms and cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
  4. Keep stirring until mushrooms caramelize slightly and are tender and the liquid is also cooked out.
  5. Turn off the heat and add lemon juice and mix.
  6. Adjust salt and pepper to taste.
