I recently had the pleasure of testing Vince’s Own gourmet vodka sauce, which left me utterly impressed and craving more!
The texture of this vodka sauce was perfection. It was silky, creating a luscious coating on my rigatoni that promised a burst of flavor in every bite. What set this vodka sauce apart is that it is all-natural, with no additives.
It was easy to prepare, no additional work required on your end. Just add the sauce to a pot for heating, boil your pasta, and once it is boiled, mix in some pasta water. Once the sauce is steaming hot, toss in your pasta and stir. I like to save some sauce to the side to add on top of my pasta later for plating and garnish with basil and parmigiano cheese.
I am Italian, and growing up, bread on the table with a plate of pasta was a must. This night I decided to try a new sourdough that is only available in the Sharon location in limited quantities – made by a local baker, known as The Good Bread. I added some olive oil, oregano and salt and wow, was it delicious!
If you have the opportunity to indulge in a serving of this vodka sauce or try the sourdough, don’t hesitate. They are tastes worth savouring.
